Attorney General John M. Formella announces that the Department of Justice (DOJ) has filed a Complaint in Rockingham County Superior Court alleging unfair business practices, including patient abandonment and failure to provide patients’ medical records, against healthcare businesses PMC Medical Group, LLC (doing business as Granite State Pain Associates, R.O.A.D. to a Better Life, and Salmon Falls Family Healthcare, among others) and Curam Health, LLC (doing business as Spine and Joint Center), as well as against the businesses’ owners and operators, Mr. Matthew Hogan of Boston, Massachusetts and affiliated corporate entities, Cúram, LLC and Cúram Health Management Services, LLC. The DOJ’s Consumer Protection and Antitrust Bureau (“the Bureau”) began investigating Mr. Hogan and his businesses after receiving several consumer complaints directly and through the New Hampshire Office of Professional Licensure and Certification. On November 12, 2025, the Bureau learned that the sole licensed provider of clinical services and few clinic staff members remaining in Mr. Hogan’s employ had all resigned that day, with the provider’s resignation to take effect on Friday, November 21, 2025. The DOJ also learned that patients were struggling to obtain their medical records, thus delaying or preventing continuity of care.
