Gov. Lamont Orders Independent Review of High Death Rate in State’s Nursing Homes During Coronavirus Pandemic

In response to the overwhelming number of deaths that have occurred in the state’s long-term care facilities Gov. Ned Lamont announced Monday that that he is ordering an independent, third-party review to be conducted of the state’s preparation and response to the COVID-19 pandemic inside of Connecticut’s nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
