Arkansas AG Announces Conviction of Blytheville Woman for Medicaid Fraud

Attorney General Tim Griffin announced the conviction of a Blytheville woman for Medicaid fraud. On May 5, Amber Ramos, 37, of Blytheville pleaded guilty to one count of Medicaid fraud, a Class C Felony. She was sentenced to a three-year term of probation and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine, court costs, and restitution in the amount of $4,999.99. Ramos was employed as a caregiver and submitted time sheets claiming hours she did not work while traveling outside of Arkansas.
