SC AG Charges Care Facility Administrator in Neglect-Related Deaths

South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced that Wilhelmina C. Rellora, 66, of Hanahan, SC, has been charged in connection with an ongoing investigation by the Attorney General’s Vulnerable Adults and Medicaid Provider Fraud Unit (VAMPF) into Park Circle Home, a Community Residential Care Facility (CRCF) located at 1133 Bexley Street in North Charleston. Rellora was booked into the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center on April 6, 2026. Rellora, who served as the licensed administrator of the facility, faces the charges of two counts of Abuse or Neglect of a Vulnerable Adult Resulting in Death, and one count of Abuse or Neglect of a Vulnerable Adult Resulting in Great Bodily Injury. According to the arrest warrants, Rellora, acting in her role as the facility administrator and classified as a caregiver, failed to provide the necessary care, goods, and services required to protect the health and safety of vulnerable adult residents. The alleged failures resulted in the deaths of two residents and caused great bodily injury to a third resident.
